A Newborn Love Story- lifestyle photography in Arkansas

new parents look at newborn baby

I can’t think of a better way to start a Valentine’s Day, than to photograph a newborn baby. Most newborns are born into the middle of a love story. And sweet, little Brooks is no exception. His gorgeous parents began their story years ago, when they first met. It may not have started out as love at first sight, but it began as a friendship that grew into something beautiful.

In honor of Valentine’s Day, the sermon at church this week was about the ways that God has shown us love and how we can show love to others. It has made me more aware and more appreciative of all the ways I see love. The love that these new parents have for each other is undeniable… I saw a Valentine’s gift of beautiful, red roses displayed on the bedside table. I heard how Justin so sweetly asked the mother of his baby what he could make her for lunch. I noticed the adoring looks that Heather gave her husband as he held their son.

But that was just a glimmer of the love I saw! I could see love in all the gadgets and gifts that friends and family showered on the Boyd Family. I could hear it in Heather’s voice when she shared the gratefulness she had for their awesome nurses and for the family who watched their dogs and helped during the first few days of c-section recovery. I know there was love in the meals that were prepared for the new parents. The friend who dropped off a sweater at the last minute for the new momma to borrow for her session, did that in love!

There is still so much good and right in this world… we just have to take a minute to notice it. And to add to it! I am so grateful I had the opportunity to capture a part of the Boyd Family Love Story. There is NO doubt in my mind that adorable, little Brooks Edward will grow-up, surrounded with love.

Thanks for stopping by! I’d love it if you took a minute to share a recent experience where you witnessed an extra dose of love. And as always, reach out when you’re ready to capture the love that you and your family share!

Awe… thank you SO much. I don’t know if it’s because I’ve been extra emotional about my own babies growing up, or because I’m being extra aware after that sermon, but this session sure had my heart. I love you, Auntie Cole and am grateful for your encouragement.
